About this adventure

An early-morning guided walk at the Forest Preserve District of Will County's Four Rivers Environmental Education Center in Channahon, timed to watch the sky change from night to day. Participants meander along the preserve's trails to take in the sights and sounds of that moment, then head indoors to see Four Rivers' new interactive Day & Night exhibit. The walk runs from 5:45 to 7:15 a.m. on Saturday, November 7, and covers up to 2 miles on paved trails, so participants should dress for the weather. The program is free and open to all ages, and the district describes it as inclusive and welcoming to people of all abilities in an accessible building. Registration is required by Thursday, November 5, online or by phone at 815-722-9470; requests for an auxiliary aid or service should be made when registering or at least 48 hours ahead.
