About this adventure
Each registered family receives one gingerbread house kit with frosting and candy and spends the evening building and decorating it together at Birchwood Recreation Center. Houses compete for the title of “The Best House in Town.” Two hours on a Friday in December; works for all ages, with little ones placing candy and older kids engineering the roof. Registration is handled through the Palatine Park District's online WebTrac system; one kit is provided per registered family.
