Las Cafeteras bring Hasta La Muerte, a theatrical and musical production inspired by Indigenous and Mexican Day of the Dead traditions, to Elgin's Hemmens Cultural Center on Sunday, November 1, 2026. Through music, dance, poetry and storytelling, the two-act show explores grief, loss and the celebration of life, mixing original and traditional songs with folklórico-inspired choreography and honoring the role of curanderas.
