Isle a la Cache Museum brings the 18th century to life on Sunday, November 8, from noon to 3 p.m. A blacksmith turns raw metal into everyday tools, Alexander Hamilton's New York Provincial Company of Artillery demonstrates period weapons, and voyageurs and settlers talk about the journeys that brought them to this land. A drop-in program for all ages, free and with no registration; it may be indoors or outdoors depending on weather. Expect loud demonstrations, so bring ear protection for sensitive little ones.
