Centennial Ice Arena is the Park District of Highland Park's indoor rink on Trail Way, with public skate sessions most days of the week. Recent calendars show weekday late-morning sessions (about 11 a.m. to 1 or 1:30 p.m.), a short Saturday late-morning session and some late-afternoon sessions, but session times shift from week to week, so check the venue calendar before going. The rink also hosts family special skates through the year, such as the Fall Skating Exhibition and Scary Skate in October. Admission is listed as $7 to $11 per public skate session.
