Dan Ryan Woods Visitor Center hosts a family night under the stars on Friday, November 20, from 5 to 9 p.m. Participants look at the night sky through a telescope and try other interactive experiences, then gather for interactive storytelling. The evening ends with hot cocoa and a s'more, and crafts, play and other activities run throughout. The Forest Preserves describe it as perfect for all ages, and it is free. The visitor center is at South Western Avenue and West 87th Street.
