M3 Dance presents its Nutcracker at Elgin's Hemmens Cultural Center on December 5 and 6, 2026. The production mixes students, pre-professionals and professional dancers from the Chicago suburbs and around the country, including artists from well-known ballet and contemporary companies, with crafted costumes and original sets. It runs about two hours with an intermission, so it suits children who can sit through a full-length ballet. Saturday performances are listed at noon and 5 p.m.; doors open 30 minutes before showtime. The balcony is not available for this production. Tickets are sold through the Hemmens' online box office.
