About this adventure

Inspired by Michael Bond's Paddington stories, this SandBox Series production from Columbus Children's Theatre is a 30-minute interactive show for babies-to-preschoolers and the adults who bring them. Children help a curious bear find his way through unfamiliar places: they pack an imaginary suitcase, act out surprising discoveries and help sort out playful mix-ups, with music, movement and games carrying the story. Activity stations before the show offer suitcase decorating, bear crafts and pretend travel games. The theme is kindness and welcoming newcomers, and CCT notes the format supports early literacy and social-emotional learning. The January run falls partly on MLK weekend. All children ages 1 and older need their own ticket, and every child ticket must be accompanied by at least one adult ticket; tickets can be moved to another Paddington performance online.
