Franklin Park Conservatory's Noon Year's Eve gives young children a New Year's countdown they can stay awake for. In the Garden Pavilion, kids make a party hat, play games and dance, then count down to 12 noon with what the Conservatory calls a one-of-a-kind bubble stomp. A second countdown at 1 p.m. repeats the fun for families who arrive later, so there is an 11 a.m. and a noon session to choose from. No registration is needed; the party is included with regular Conservatory admission, so families can also wander the plant collections and current exhibitions, browse the Botanica gift shop or eat at the Garden Café before or after. It suits toddlers through early elementary children.
