About this adventure

For Native American Heritage Month, storyteller Robin Pease of Women in History portrays Sacagawea, the Shoshone woman who traveled with Lewis and Clark carrying her baby, Pomp, in a one-hour program at Westerville Public Library. Through her character, families share Native American stories and songs. Pease is an award-winning storyteller whose honors include the Young Audiences' Sunshine Award, and the program is open to kids and adults together, making it a good intergenerational Sunday outing for elementary-age children and up. It is part of the library's heritage-month series meant to reflect and celebrate the community's diversity.
