About this adventure
The City of The Colony's Veterans Day weekend festival at The Athletic Club is a free, all-day celebration honoring veterans, first responders and their families. Children will find carnival rides and games, crafts and activities, food trucks and vendors, plus a car show running through the day, a community stage with local talent and live bands in the afternoon. A veterans ceremony takes place on stage at 5:45 p.m., and a drone show closes the night at 8 p.m. A silent auction benefits Operation Comfort Warriors and One Tribe Foundation. Admission is free; a separate VIP area with buffet and bar access is offered. Families with young children may prefer the afternoon and stay through the drone show if bedtime allows.
