About this adventure

A Grinch-themed community food drive and holiday vendor market on Kaleidoscope Park's Performance Lawn, hosted by Altair Global to benefit the North Texas Food Bank and Move For Hunger. Families bring non-perishable food, hygiene items or cleaning supplies (online donations are also taken), and the Grinch and friends meet visitors in a pop-up 'Whoville' where kids can help unload the donations. While there, families can shop the Wholiday Market of vendors, sing along to holiday tunes and enter a free raffle for one of ten prizes. It is a good way to show children a hands-on way of giving during the holidays, and the four-hour morning-to-afternoon window makes it easy to fit around naps. The park says the event is run by an outside organizer, so questions go to the host.
