A late-morning holiday public skate in McKinney, a good fit for families with younger children who nap in the afternoon. The session adds Turkey Bowling on the ice to the usual open skate, and the StarCenter frames it as a way to burn off energy before the Thanksgiving meal. Standard public skating prices apply ($17 general admission, children 3 and under free, $6 rentals); bucket-zone skating aids are offered on weekends for beginners.
