About this adventure

Orchard Town Center in Westminster opens its holiday season with Winterfest, an afternoon-into-evening celebration across the outdoor shopping center. Santa makes his grand arrival, the center's holiday tree is lit after a countdown, and a new Winter Wonderland opens in the splash pad area with a display of LED trees and selfie spots for family photos. Local groups perform on the Sunken Plaza stage near Windfall, including Elevate Dance Center, the Broomfield Children's Chorus and New Paradigm Dance Theater. Children can do holiday crafts and activities while parents browse an artisan market of local vendors, and free visits with Santa start right after the tree lighting, so families who want to see Santa should plan to stay into the evening. There is also a Sip & Stroll for adults with drinks from restaurants at the center, and hot cocoa, cider, coffee and food are sold on site. No RSVP is needed.
