About this adventure
Sterling Heights Parks and Recreation hosts a circus-themed Daddy Daughter Carnival Dance at the Community Center, with an afternoon matinee aimed at younger girls. Daughters come with their dad, grandpa, uncle or another special father figure for two hours of music from a live DJ, dancing, carnival games, circus-themed treats and professional photos. Dress attire is encouraged, so this is a chance for kids to dress up for a first dance with a grown-up they love. The ticket covers admission, activities, treats, photos and staff supervision, and the city shares additional details shortly before the dance. Eligibility is ages 3 and up. Registration is through the city's WebTrac site and closes November 6; the fee is $19 for residents and $24 for non-residents. An evening session (6:00–8:30 pm) runs the same day for families who prefer a later start.
