Orion Township Public Library throws a party especially for kindergarten students and their families. Young learners explore the library with hands-on activities and crafts, and families discover the resources and services available to support their child's learning, which makes it a natural moment to sign up for a first library card. The party runs Saturday, November 21, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to noon in the Linda Sickles Meeting Rooms, funded by the Friends of the Orion Township Public Library. It is free; registration is required and opens October 21, 2026 at 9:30 a.m.
