About this adventure

Before Santa rides in the Sperry's Santa Parade on the Friday after Thanksgiving, he stops at The Raven, a coffeehouse on Military Street in downtown Port Huron, for an hour and a half of cookies and hot cocoa with local kids. Children can meet Santa, share their wish lists and warm up with a treat before heading out to find a spot along the parade route. The first 100 kids get their cookies and cocoa free, courtesy of The Raven and Border Keep Games, and the game shop is handing out a 10 percent coupon to children who come in. The visit runs from 4 to 5:30 p.m., which leaves time to walk over for the 6 p.m. parade and the lighting of Downtown Port Huron's Christmas tree right after it, so families can make an evening of it. Arriving early is the safest way to be among the first hundred children.
