Aerodrome Ice Skating Complex

The Aerodrome Ice Skating Complex in northwest Houston (Willowbrook area) is a year-round indoor rink with public sessions and about 1,000 pairs of rental skates. Daytime sessions are bright and family-friendly; seasonal evening sessions dim the lights and add music and special-effects lighting for a party feel that older kids and teens enjoy. Beginners have plenty of help: walkers ($6) and the Bobby the Seal and Zamboni Express skating aids ($12) are available first come, first served, and children 2 and under skate free. Admission is $13 per person plus $7 skate rental. Homeschool families get a $12 rate including skates on school days that follow the Cy-Fair ISD calendar, and groups of 12 or more pay $13 per person with rental included, paid by one person in the Pro Shop with no reservation needed. A party room can be rented during public sessions for $75 an hour, and food comes from the on-site Ice Box restaurant. Session times vary day to day, so check the rink's daily event calendar before going.
