About this adventure

A railroad history museum in downtown Rosenberg set on nearly two acres of park-like grounds with indoor and outdoor exhibits. Every admission includes a docent-led tour, usually on the half hour, which the guides tailor to the group; some exhibits are locked and can only be seen on a tour. Young train fans can see historic rail cars such as the Quebec private car, model train layouts and the outdoor garden railroad, and the museum publishes a social story and a grounds map to help families prepare. A visit takes an hour or two, and seasonal fun days (Thanksgiving, Christmas and a Noon Year's Eve) are included with admission. The Another Time Soda Fountain across the street is a handy lunch stop. Last admission is 45 minutes before closing; the museum is closed Monday and Tuesday.
