About this adventure
Lone Star Flight Museum at Ellington Airport runs two single-day aviation camps over Thanksgiving week. On Tuesday, ages 10–12 do 'Engines, Robots, and Drones, Oh My!'; on Wednesday, ages 9–12 do 'Plane Fun Pilot', learning the four forces of flight through hands-on STEM challenges and explorations of the museum's historic aircraft. Each camp runs 9:30 am to 3 pm; campers bring a lunch or pre-order from the museum's Minuti Café. Registration is per day through the museum's online store and is final and non-refundable, with member discounts.
