About this adventure

Main Street Parkville Association sets Christmas on the River at English Landing Park on Friday, December 4, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm. Holiday entertainment with vocal musicians starts at 6 pm. Children can visit Santa at his North Pole House for a photo, walk the Christmas Market for crafts, artisan goods, hot chocolate, and kettle corn, and meet costumed characters including the Grinch and Cindy Lou Who. Pocket Park is listed for more live music and photo stops. Fireworks along the Missouri River are planned for about 8:45 pm. Free round-trip shuttles run during the event from the YMCA at 8875 Clark Avenue. The page does not print an admission price for the park itself. English Landing Park is the riverfront park the city locates on Herb Bush Drive, with no building number on that location page. Bring a coat for the riverfront and a way home if you use the shuttle.
