Families can build a candy-covered graham cracker cottage at the Lenexa City Center Library, the library's cold-weather version of a gingerbread house. Each participant receives a base structure made in the library's MakerSpace plus white icing and candy, and decorates it however they like before carrying it home. It is meant for children together with a caregiver. The hour-long session is on Friday, December 11, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Spots are limited, registration is required, and every person making a cottage needs their own registration.
