At the Holiday Kid Makers Market more than 30 young local makers, from elementary age through high school seniors, sell handmade products they designed themselves: hand-painted rocks, comic books, crochet plushies, quilts, wooden bowls, resin keychains and similar crafts. It is a chance for children to shop for gifts made by other kids and to see young entrepreneurs at work. Santa visits on the main Market level from noon to 2 p.m., and Public Market merchants serve food and drinks downstairs. Shopping runs 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; entry is free and purchases are paid to each vendor.
