JCPRD naturalists bring their owl program to TimberRidge Adventure Center for a Friday-night Owl Prowl. The evening starts at the TimberRidge Welcome Center with a talk featuring live owls — the region's Great Horned, Barred and Screech Owls — and continues with a hike outdoors as the group tries to call in wild owls, ending with a cup of hot cider. It runs 7 to about 8:30 p.m. on November 13. Adults and children ages 8 and older (with an adult) may attend; every participant must register in advance and pay $14 ($15 nonresidents), and fees are nonrefundable.
