Twice a week visitors to Burr Oak Woods Conservation Nature Center can watch the nature center's amphibians, fish and turtles get their meal. Critter Feeding takes place on Tuesdays and Fridays from 2 to 3 p.m., and the snakes are fed on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month. No registration is required, so it is an easy add-on to a visit to the nature center's exhibits and trails with toddlers or school-age children. The program is listed through October and continues in November per the MDC calendar.
