Ocean Institute brings a pop-up version of its popular Tiny Tots program to Rivian's Toddler Time Wednesdays at the Rivian South Coast Theater in Laguna Beach. Little Currents is designed for children aged 0–2 and their grown-ups: each one-hour session follows a structured schedule mixing ocean-inspired sensory play, sing-along circles, a themed craft and interactive story time, aimed at early development and parent-child bonding. Each month has its own theme. In November, 'TREE-mendous Nature', toddlers learn about kinds of trees and how they grow, using pictures, counting tree rings and growing small plants. December's 'Insulation Station' looks at how animals stay warm with blubber and fur, and how people stay warm too. The program is free to the public.
