About this adventure

The Pacific Palisades Turkey Trot marks its 12th year on Thanksgiving morning with a 5K, a 10K and a kids' race on and around the Palisades Charter High School campus, finishing at Dolphin Stadium. Children ages 5 to 10 can sign up for one of the Kids Race heats (one presented by St. Matthew's Parish School, another by Marquez Charter Elementary); the 5K is open to ages 5 and up, including walkers and strollers who start at the back of the field, and the 10K to ages 11 and up. Pre-race festivities start at 7 a.m. on the football field, where runners check in; finishers get medals and water, medical staff are on site, and the program wraps up by 11 a.m. Dogs are not allowed on the field. Organizers ask families who live near downtown Pacific Palisades to walk over, since parking is limited to the surrounding Alphabet Streets.
