Organizer

Pasadena Ice Skating Center

The Pasadena Ice Skating Center on East Green Street offers public skating every day for skaters of all ages and abilities, with sessions spread across weekday afternoons, a few evenings and weekend afternoons; the posted schedule changes, so check the live schedule before going. Rink staff monitor each session, and skaters follow the public session guidelines posted at the rink. For the youngest skaters, assist walkers are lent free of charge, first come, first served, to beginner toddlers whose waist height is no more than 26 inches with skates on. Tickets are not sold online: everyone pays admission and skate rental at the front desk on arrival, and Pasadena residents and seniors get $2 off admission with a valid California ID. A few midday weekday sessions are 'Lunch Bunch' sessions for ages 18 and up only, so children cannot join those. Frequent skaters can buy Platinum memberships with unlimited public sessions and skate rental. The rink also runs Learn to Skate group classes from age 3 (listed separately), hockey, figure skating and synchronized skating teams, and books parties and groups of ten or more at per-skater rates that include rentals.
