Toyota Sports Performance Center (LA Kings Ice)

The Toyota Sports Performance Center in El Segundo opens its ice to the public for skating sessions with a tiered price list: adults, children 12 and under, and a reduced rate for seniors 65 and over, military members and college students with ID. A cheaper last-hour ticket suits families who only want a short skate. Rental skates come in a wide range of sizes, from tots to adults, in both figure and hockey styles, and the price list also shows 'Seals' at $20 alongside the rentals. The rules posted for public sessions are strict: skate at your own risk, skate counterclockwise, no more than two people skating together, no tag or games, and no carrying children or items on the ice. Earbuds and headphones of any kind are not allowed unless medically necessary, and figure skaters who have passed the Preliminary Freestyle test must practise on freestyle sessions instead. Frequent skaters can buy annual passes.
