About this adventure

The California Science Center opens the Samuel Oschin Air and Space Center to the public on Friday, November 13, 2026. The four-floor expansion adds 100,000 square feet of exhibit space, nearly doubling the Science Center's exhibits, and is the permanent home of space shuttle Endeavour, shown in launch position. The Science Center says the building will be the only place in the world to see a complete, authentic space shuttle system with a flown orbiter. General admission to the Science Center is free, and visitors are asked to make an advance timed reservation; members can reserve before the general public with service fees waived, and members had a first look at a Members Day on November 1. The Science Center, at 700 Exposition Park Drive, is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and its FAQ page covers timed reservations for the new center.
