A free community celebration at a new location, the Coon Rapids Civic Center. Santa arrives at 4 PM; enjoy cocoa and cookies, pictures with Santa, live music, fire pits, an ornament-making station and letters to Santa. The grand finale at 5:30 PM is a countdown to a twinkling light display on the tree and fireworks. The event is both indoors and outdoors; dress warm for the tree lighting outside. Sponsored by the Coon Rapids Community Strength Foundation and the City of Coon Rapids.
