About this adventure

The Albertville Lions host their 12th annual Christmas in the Park at Albertville Central Park on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Families can visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, take a horse-drawn wagon ride, pose for photos with reindeer and a sleigh, and roast s'mores over the fire, with hot cocoa, cider and cookies to keep everyone warm. Carolers from the STMA High School choir and SOAR sing through the afternoon, and the park's tree lighting ceremony takes place at 5 p.m. The event runs from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, November 29, and most activities are outdoors, so the city's listing tells families to bundle up. Albertville sits along I-94 in Wright County, next to St. Michael, making this an easy holiday kickoff for families in the northwest metro.
