About this adventure

The City of Oakdale lights its holiday tree with Santa on hand at the Oakdale Discovery Center on the first Thursday evening of December. The community tree lighting runs from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 3, at the Discovery Center on Hadley Avenue North, the city's community building, giving families in eastern Washington County a weeknight holiday gathering close to home and a chance to see Santa early in the season. The city's calendar lists the event with its date, time and location; a program, any fee and other activities had not been posted on October 27, so families may want to check the city's event page or call City Hall closer to the date.
