About this adventure

Prior Lake kicks off the holidays with its second annual DecemBRRR Dazzle at Lakefront Park on the first Friday evening of December. The night opens with the DecemBRRR Dazzle Tree Lighting Ceremony, followed by a festive fireworks show over the park. Families can then get a photo with Santa at the pavilion, watch professional ice carving demonstrations and warm up beside a giant bonfire, with more activities planned through the evening. Snacks and refreshments are sold on site to keep everyone cozy. The event runs from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Friday, December 4, at Lakefront Park on Kop Parkway SE, and is organized by the City of Prior Lake's recreation department with sponsors Lightbridge Academy and Sonnet Montessori School. It is a good choice for Scott County families looking for an evening holiday kickoff close to home.
