About this adventure

Southdale Center in Edina sets aside an hour on the first Sunday of December for A Special Visit with Caring Santa®, a sensory-friendly Santa experience offered exclusively for children with special needs and their families. Instead of waiting in the regular holiday line at the mall's Santa Photo Experience, families reserve a spot in this private session and meet Santa at his set in Center Court on Level 1. Photos are taken during the visit and are available for purchase. The session runs from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, December 6. Reservations are required and are made online through the mall's Santa booking site, so families should book ahead; the regular Santa Photo Experience at Southdale opens November 20 and continues through Christmas Eve.
