About this adventure

Low-Stim Sunday opens the K.U.B.E. Indoor Playground at the Plymouth Community Center for an evening of calmer play. Attendance is kept low, the lights are dimmed and the overhead music is turned off, so children who get overstimulated in a busy play space can climb, slide and run at their own pace. A sensory room and sensory bags are available if a child needs a break. It is aimed at kids with autism, sensory processing differences or anxiety, but siblings come along too, and it is a relaxed way to burn off energy indoors on a dark late-November evening. The event is free thanks to a sponsor, but children 3 and older must be preregistered through the city's online registration.
