About this adventure
A Halloween-season evening hike for teens and adults at the Warner Park Nature Center. Participants hike a short trail deep into the forest, work together to solve a nature mystery and escape from a "haunted cabin," then gather around a campfire for s'mores and ghost stories. Naturalists Rachel Anderson and Elyse Dilks lead two staggered sessions, 5:30 to 8:30 pm or 6:30 to 9:30 pm. The program is limited to ages 16 and up, so it suits older teens with a parent or friends rather than younger children. Spaces are reserved by emailing the nature center or calling 615-862-8555; registration opened October 15.
