Hoboken's annual Turkey Trot is held the Saturday before Thanksgiving at Pier A Park on the Hudson River waterfront, with the Hudson River close by. The morning opens with a Fun Run at 9:00 a.m., a shorter, untimed outing that suits children and families who want to jog or walk together, followed by the timed 5K at 10:00 a.m. along the Hoboken riverfront. Registration is handled on RunSignup by Winning Events Group, which also runs the town's December Jingle Bell race. The 5K fee rises on November 2, while the fun run has a single lower price, making it the budget pick for families.
