Walnut Street Theatre's holiday mainstage production is Disney's Frozen, the Broadway musical about sisters Anna and Elsa of Arendelle. When Elsa is crowned queen and loses control of her icy powers, Anna sets out with Kristoff, Sven the reindeer and Olaf the snowman to bring her home. The score has the film's songs, including Let It Go, Do You Want to Build a Snowman? and For the First Time in Forever, plus twelve songs written for the stage. Several Delaware Valley children from the Walnut's Theatre School are in the cast. Previews begin November 17, opening night is November 25, and the run is extended through January 3, 2027. Ticket prices include a $2.50 historic preservation fee; groups of 15 or more can book from $55 per ticket. This is a full-length Broadway musical, so it suits children old enough to sit through a two-act show.
