About this adventure

The East Greenwich Home and School Association holds its 17th annual Turkey Trot on the Saturday before Thanksgiving at the Jeffrey Clark School in Mickleton. The kids' 1-mile race for ages 12 and under and the 1-mile walk both begin at 9 am, and the 5K run starts at 9:30 am, with awards for top finishers. Entry is $25 for the kids' race or the walk and $35 for the 5K. Shirts are guaranteed to everyone who registers by Friday, November 6, and are first come, first served after that. All proceeds benefit the Jeffrey Clark and Samuel Mickle schools, so the morning has the feel of a school community event, and it works well for families with elementary-age children who want a race sized for them.
