Pennsbury Manor marks 50 years of Holly Nights, its candlelit holiday evening and biggest fundraiser of the year. On two nights, families wander the grounds by candlelight with crackling bonfires and carolers, take candlelit tours of the Manor House, watch colonial craft demonstrations and get a visit from Father Christmas. Local groups perform throughout the evening. It runs 6:00 to 9:00 PM on Thursday, December 3 and Friday, December 4. Pennsbury members do not need tickets, since Holly Nights admission is included in annual memberships; everyone else buys tickets through the event page. Dress warmly, as much of the evening is outdoors.
