About this adventure

Boro in Lights is Glassboro's free holiday kickoff, now in its 13th year, filling Town Square and the surrounding blocks of downtown with a display of lights, holiday music and community festivities for one Friday evening. The Borough describes it as family friendly for all ages, with holiday activities for children, selfie stations for family photos and a line-up of food trucks, so it works well as an early-evening outing with dinner on the street. It is one of the larger holiday gatherings in Gloucester County and draws families from across South Jersey, so arrive early for parking. Complimentary parking is available in downtown lots, on the street and in the Nexus garages near Rowan Boulevard; the Borough posts a parking map for the event. Dress warmly, since the festivities are outdoors after dark.
