About this adventure

Collingswood's Parade of Lights is an evening procession of fire trucks and floats strung with glittering lights that circles Knight Park, starting at Grant Avenue and Browning Road. Fire companies and organizations from across the region enter their trucks and compete for top honors, which makes it a favorite for children who love fire engines. The Borough recommends watching from the park side of Park Avenue. Knight Park is closed to parking during the parade, and vehicle traffic and parking are banned on Browning Road, Park Avenue and Collings Avenue, so walk in from downtown or park a few blocks away. Bring a flashlight and warm layers since it runs after dark; caroling and free Santa visits on Haddon Avenue the same Friday evening make it easy to combine into a full holiday night out.
