The East Valley Veterans Day Parade marches through downtown Mesa on Veterans Day under this year's theme, "250 Years. Ready Then, Ready Now," honouring the readiness of America's armed forces across generations. The route starts at Center Street and University Drive, heads south on Center Street to 1st Street, then turns west on 1st Street toward Robson. It is free to watch from the curb. Families should arrive early for a spot along Center Street, bring water, chairs and sun protection, and expect about two hours of marching units, bands and veterans' groups.
