The Halloween edition of Falcon Field's Cockpit Close-Up is a free Saturday-morning event for families and kids in costume. Children explore the airport's historic World War II hangar, trick-or-treat with City of Mesa departments and Falcon Field businesses, and get up close to private aircraft shown by WOFF, a volunteer pilot organisation based at the field. A good pick for young aviation fans; it runs from 8 to 11 a.m., so it pairs well with an afternoon nap or other Halloween plans.
