About this adventure

World of Illumination brings a new drive-through Christmas light show to the parking grounds of Tempe Diablo Stadium every season, and the 2026 theme follows Reno Reindeer on a race to Santa's Workshop. Families stay in their own car the whole time and drive a lit route past a giant gift-box tunnel, a peppermint vortex, towering candy canes, frosty forest scenes and glittering ice caves, with the displays synchronized to holiday music played through the car radio. The finale is an animated toy-shop scene full of elves. A drive takes roughly half an hour, which makes it an easy evening outing with babies and toddlers who can stay buckled in pajamas, and it runs in any weather. Tickets are priced per vehicle rather than per person, are sold online only for a specific date, and must be bought in advance; on Oct 27 the ticket button still read 'coming soon'.
