About this adventure
Youth History Keepers is a new monthly club at the Sigler Western Museum for junior and senior high school students in the Wickenburg area. It starts on Friday, November 6, 2026 and then meets on the first Friday of each month except January, from 1 to 3 p.m. on the lower level of the main museum. Museum education staff and docents run the sessions: they provide books on Arizona history, lead book discussions and aim to build an appreciation of local history among teenagers who live in the area. It suits teenagers who like reading and talking about history in a small group. New groups are being formed for the 2026–27 season, so the first meeting is the natural time to join. The club is free; a parent registers the student (or a group of up to twelve students, grades 6–12) through the form on the event page or by calling the museum at (928) 684-2272. On the same first Fridays the museum also runs a free family craft drop-in and a morning Youth Art Club in its Learning Center nearby.
