About this adventure

The Christmas Light-Up Celebration is a one-mile drive-through light display that winds through the wooded hills of Clinton Community Park in Findlay Township, near Pittsburgh International Airport. Volunteers from the Christmas Light Up Committee have built and run it every year since 1993, adding lit scenes, candles, a gingerbread house and sponsored decorated trees along the route. Families stay in the car the whole way, which makes it an easy outing with babies and toddlers in car seats or with kids already in pajamas. It is open every night of the season, including the holidays, so it works as a quick stop on the way home from a family visit; weeknights tend to be calmer than Saturdays close to Christmas. Admission is charged per car in cash, and the proceeds go to local charities, families facing health or money problems, and student scholarships. Use Findlay Township or Imperial as the town when entering the park address into a GPS.
