About this adventure
The North American Aerospace Museum in McMinnville runs one-day camps on school days off, each built around a theme from flight and space science and held in the museum's Titan Pavilion from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This fall's lineup starts with Frights & Flights on October 30, a Halloween-flavored day of hands-on challenges about the weird and wonderful things that fly, repeated on October 31 with new content because of demand. Rocket Science on November 6 digs into how rockets work and why they are shaped the way they are, with only 12 places. Heroes of Aerospace on Veterans Day, November 11, looks at the history of the people who took to the skies and reached for the stars. Early-bird pricing ends seven days before each camp and enrollment closes three days before it starts.
