About this adventure
On Halloween Saturday the North American Aerospace Museum in McMinnville holds its second annual Pumpkin Painting Day. The museum supplies the pumpkins and the paints, and children bring their own ideas, decorating a pumpkin to take home and then exploring the museum's collection of aircraft, spacecraft and aerospace artifacts, from the Spruce Goose to space exhibits. The activity is limited to the first 75 children under 13 who come with paid museum admission, so arriving early in the day is the safest plan.
